School of Human Development and Technocommunication (iKOM) is a new faculty which has been upgraded from a Centre for Communication Technology and Human Development (PTKPI). iKOM is responsible for managing core and compulsory university courses. In 2014 , iKOM move forward upon the approval of the Ministry of Education to offer a new program of Bachelor Degree of New Media Communication. However , the original function of iKOM in a the core and compulsory subjects to university students continues.
Initially, IKOM has received more than 100 students for the first year intake for its newly introduced Degree in New Media Communication. To date the number has increased when more students were accepted during the second year intake. Essentially IKOM is now equipped with laboratory, lecture hall, café, discussion room, prayers room and tutorial room for the convenience of the students.
